Effexor Depression Hell

I have to agree with the girl who wrote about becoming totally different when drinking and being on effexor.

I have even lost friends because of how mean I become when I am on effexor. I say mean things to people that I truly care about and have no control over it.

I also feel horrible if I am late taking a dose.. and one time I ran out.. it was HORRIBLE! I was shaking and crying and felt like i was going insane. It's the worst thing in the world.

I am going to talk to my shrink about switching to something else but am worried because I have been taking it for about 4 years and I take 450MG a day. I have a feeling it's going to be really really hard.
