Effexor Side Effects

I have been on 75mg/day of Effexor now for about a year.

I was put on Effexor by my Doctor to help treat what he calls "Panic Disorder". I suffer from frequent panic attacks that I alot of the time cannot control. I do not suffer depression.

I recently tried to "wean" myself off with minimal success. I ended up shaking and fidgity like a crack head without his crack pipe. I couldnt sleep at all and my anxiety and panic came back with a vengence.

I never ran to the pharmacy so fast in all my life. It is a sick physical addiction.

I am afraid of being stuck on this med for the rest of my life now because I am terrified of the scary withdrawls and panic attacks that I will suffer.

I do hear alot about people taking Effexor and not being able to sleep. Me on the other hand I cannot sleep without it.

I am just glad to vent to some people that hopefully understand because they could possibly be in the same prediciment as I am.
