Extreme Celexa Weight Gain

If you're experiencing extreme weight gain while taking Celexa, you're not alone. Weight gain is one of the most common side effects of Celexa. Just like with Paxil and Zoloft. And sometimes the weight gain becomes extreme.

The extreme Celexa weight gain can most likely be attributed to two causes:

1. Celexa causes strong food cravings in some people who take it.

2. There's a very good chance that Celexa has lowered your resting metabolic rate.

If you're eating more, then certainly some of the weight gain can be explained that way. But most people I've heard from swear they don't eat more. So that leaves only your metabolic rate as the most likely cause of weight gain.

The first thing you need to do for extreme Celexa weight gain is to drink lots of water.

If you weigh 100 pounds; drink 50 ounces of water per day. If you weigh 150 pounds; drink 75 ounces. If you weigh 200 pounds; drink 100 ounces per day. You may have to work your way up to that amount if you're not used to it.

The second most important thing to do to help with the Celexa weight loss is to take fish oil capsules and Vitamin E capsules and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) capsules. Again, a rather simple solution.
