Paxil Side Effects
Looking for information on the possible side effects from
taking paxil?
You've come to the right place!
Listed below are over 450 different side effects of
paxil (paroxetine) that showed up during the decade of
testing...
in a Herculean effort to find two studies (only two!) that
would show paxil works better than a placebo to mask
the symptoms of depression.
By employing a 'scientific' methodology that would be
laughed out of any junior high school science class,
researchers were finally able to produce those
two studies.
The ten long years of struggle and many drug trial failures
had paid off!
Leaving a path of pain and suffering in it's wake, paxil
was finally 'proven' to be safe and effective in the
treatment of depression.
Later, paxil was 'proven' safe and effective for panic
attacks,
obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD),
post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and
anxiety.
And now you get to live with the results.
How many of these hundreds of
side effects do you have?
As you read over this huge list, keep in mind
these are real people who were (and are) really
suffering. It's so easy to 'gloss-over' these hundreds
and hundreds of paxil side effects, mostly because there
are just so many of them.
- But how many people can't sleep tonight because of paxil?
- How many can't get out of bed because of the crushingly
painful migraine headaches?
- How many people no longer feel like a human being because
they're taking paxil?
- How many good honest people think they're going crazy -
right now?
- How many are sick with the 'paxil flu'?
What's your story? How much weight have you
gained? Are you feeling the pain of paxil?
Paxil can affect many different body parts and systems.
If you have not yet started taking paxil, you may wish to
reconsider after reading this information.
Listed below are the most frequent side effects
as reported by the GSK.
Frequencies range from 1% to 36.3%. These figures are
somewhat misleading, since one in five of those test
subjects - a full 20% - had to drop out of the drug
trials because the paxil side effects were simply too
harsh to tolerate.
If these 'quitters' (as the researchers called them)
were factored in, the true percentage of people suffering
from side effects would increase substantially.
To illustrate what I mean,
consider the following example: Recent
unbiased studies
suggest as many as half the people taking paxil have
sexual problems of one kind or another.
Compare this percentage with the 'official' results
from GSK testing - which indicated about 10% of the
clinical trial patients had sexual problems.
What does this say? In real life - your life - the
paxil side effects occur much more frequently than
previously reported. In this case, five times
more frequently!
