Surviving Paxil Withdrawal
Your ultimate goal with paxil withdrawal is to return to
or attain a normal, healthy state of wellness.
Wellness exists not as a destination, but rather more of a lifetime
pursuit.
You'll never be done with wellness. You can
always be healthier. You can always be 'more well'. You
can always reach for greater well-being.
Wellness also stands as an ideal. Ideals: goals that
by their very nature are never fully attained. Other ideals include love, truth and beauty.
You can always seek greater love, just as you can always
seek greater wellness.
The seven action steps listed below offer starting
points to wellness. While they're tailored for
paxil withdrawal in this case, they could just as easily
be applied to any health issue.
The Path to Wellness from Paxil
Withdrawal
1. Allow yourself to feel the emotions around paxil
withdrawal.
Don't shut them out. Feel the anger, the
injustice, the rage, even the pity and the fear - whatever comes up - keep it active, keep it churning inside of you.
Do not shut down your feelings, no matter what! Keep
them moving up and out of you.
2. Always look for answers.
Why did this happen?
Why did I allow it to happen? What is the message
here? What am I learning?
Never stop asking yourself these types of
questions.
3. Direct your anger at the paxil withdrawal symptoms.
Don't get angry at yourself. Don't blame yourself - that's
the easy way out.
You have been betrayed. You did not betray yourself.
You can accept responsibility without hating yourself or
putting yourself down. Hate the symptoms instead. Hate what they
do to you.
Be conscious of your hate. Use it. Direct it. Focus it. Just
remember it's a loaded gun, so don't point
it at yourself!
4. Forgive yourself.
I've put together an entire forgiveness program
on this very important topic. It contains complete instructions
on what forgiveness is, what it can do for you, and most
importantly how to do it!
5. Be a fighter.
Don't take this lying down. Fight
back. Fight hard. Fight dirty. Don't kid yourself into
thinking you can be sweet and nice. You're practically
fighting for your life against the paxil withdrawal symptoms.
The paxil withdrawal symptoms that you feel are
your enemy. Don't ever forget that.
6. Heal your lack of 'deserving'.
The common thread in most
people going through the paxil withdrawal
symptoms: deep down inside, they really don't think they
deserve any better.
You may think you deserve to suffer just because you're depressed,
and that's a lie.
First of all, depression creates undeservability. You start thinking: "If
I really deserved, I wouldn't be depressed in the first place!"
Added to this tendency is the fact that we all get what we
think we deserve.
Not what we want to deserve. Not what we tell others
we deserve. Not what we think would be 'nice' to deserve, but what
we really, really, deep down inside - at two o'clock in the
morning - honestly think we deserve.
We always get what we think we deserve.
The more 'deserving' you feel, the easier it will be to end
the paxil withdrawal symptoms.
7. Constantly restate your determination to be healthy.
You do want to be healed from the paxil withdrawal symptoms,
right? State it! State it again!
"I will be healthy!"
Do this at least once a day, maybe even once an hour. Focus on the health, and what it will be like once you get
your life back.
In addition to reading about paxil withdrawal help,
it's also important to understand the underlying causes
that would lead
someone to such a painful place.
I almost feel guilty because my life has become so enjoyable
and so easy. Especially since I remember how miserable I used to be.
Basically it comes down to making one slight shift in what you do
everyday, and you can watch in amazement as your life slowly begins to start working out in almost every way.
It's such an important change that I've written a complete e-book about it. And I'd like to give you a copy for free. All you have to do is write your first name and primary
