Paxil Aggression
"This is the 3rd time I'm trying to get off Paxil, I have been on it for 5-6 years on and off."
I was misdiagnosed by my family physician, I and them thought they were treating a bout of depression. The symptoms escalted and I now have been to a reputable psychiatrist whom has diagnosed me with bipolar.
The psychiatrist has informed me that Paxil actually causes increased aggression and in my case passive aggression. I ended up being hospitalized due to my passive aggressiveness.
Now I am weening myself off the paxil. I have started today with cutting my paxil from 50mg a day to 25mg a day.
I have already forewarned my friends that I will become very angry, I already have!
My suggestion to all who are considering taking paxil, see a specialist and make sure they know exactly what they are treating!!!!!
By the way, this website rocks!!! Thanks for all the helpful hints.
