Paxil and Anxiety

Quite by mistake, I let my Paxil medication run out. Day one was fine, but on the afternoon of day two I began showing signs of withdrawal.

At the time, I did not know what was happening. There were electric like flashes, a full feeling in my head as though I had a terrible headcold. I felt out of balance and almost out of touch with my surroundings.

Today is day five with no Paxil. I am still experiencing all of the symptoms, but thanks to this website and others like it, I know that I am alright and that these sensations will pass.

I know that I will try my best to stay "off of Paxil."

Withdrawal is almost as bad as the anxiety attacks that precipitated my going on medication
