Effexor XR Withdrawal
Effexor XR Withdrawal
I think it's great that the woman named Heidi had what she calls an "easy" break from Effexor.
However, I take MAJOR offense at her claim that people who have problems with the drug are simply "not ready to get off of it."
Excuse me, but that is completely NOT true. Hello, that's why it's called "withdrawal"?!?!?
Just because the symptoms of withdrawal are somewhat similar to depression and/or anxiety does NOT mean they're related.
When people like Heidi, who have flawed perceptions of how chemistry work, post such things, it does NOTHING but make the people who are suffering through this effexor withdrawal feel jealous of her "easy" time.
Hell, I WISH I had her experience. But guess what. It takes more than a positive attitude. Believe me, if I could control all of my brain chemicals by positive thinking alone, it'd be smooth sailing.
Heidi, wake up and realize that you're one of a very lucky minority.
